Parent Advocacy Training
Leadem Counseling & Consulting Services offers workshops and parent training to groups interested in:

• Special Education Advocacy
• Special Education Law
• Functional Behavioral Assessments
• Behavioral Intervention Plans

Leadem Counseling and Consulting Services is a NJ certified provider of Continuing Education Credits and is authorized to grant credit hours in addition to practical skills for enhancing advocacy skills. The workshops for Parent Advocacy Training are free of charge and afford participants with excellent networking opportunities.

The workshops are open to parents, guardians, and educators. The format is designed to promote the development of advocacy skills and provide opportunities for strengthening mutual support networks with other families.

Community Education
A variety of presentations are available to groups interested in:

• Developing mentoring programs in their district
• Educating their community regarding learning differences and special needs
• Introducing highlights of both state and federal special education law

Specialized presentations can be developed to meet individual group needs and interests.
