Case Management
Leadem Counseling and Consulting's comprehensive Special
EducationServices is designed to provide a wide
array of Education Special Services to the student
and family when the student's learning needs require close supervision
and support.
This
option begins with a complete review of your child's educational
and social/emotional histories. Based on this review and personal
interviews, planning meetings are held to determine where best
to focus energy in securing the most important Education
Special Services for your child.
We
will partner with your family to provide you with training regarding
your child's disability, attend and facilitate school based meetings,
if needed, and act as a liaison with Special Education Services
providers and school district to monitor progress toward goals.
Where
appropriate, we will conduct extensive Functional
Behavioral Assessments and develop a comprehensive Behavioral
Intervention Plan to help your child become more successful
in day to day school activities. Our staff is well versed in Education
Special Services that can make learning less stressful for
some children and will make recommendations where appropriate.
Should
an out-of-district placement prove beneficial, we are able to
identify and assess placement options and monitor your child's
progress once a placement is made through our Special Education
Transition Services.
In
short, by forming a partnership with your family, our staff will
make recommendations and assist with implementing all management
services required to navigate the complex special education environment.
The
fee for this service is billed on a monthly basis.
Individual
Case Consultation
When families do not feel the need for a comprehensive monthly
service our Comprehensive Special
Education Services are available on an as-needed
basis.
The
fees for the services are charged individually.
