Building Blocks for Rebuilding Romantic Health

In today’s culture, any marriage can lose sight of what’s important and get off track.  This reality is compounded when there’s been a significant event of hurt, betrayal or secrecy and it can be difficult for couples to establish the safety and bond they desire.  This one-day event is an opportunity for couples to gain practical ways to develop the emotional and romantic intimacy that God designed for their marriage.

Awakening to Your Soulmate: International Association of Certified Sexual Addiction Specialists Conference

May 1, 2015 | 3:00pm – 4:15pm | IACSAS Annual Conference, St. Louis, MO

LCCS co-founders and retreat masters John and Elaine Leadem have recently begun to present their new couple’s training series titled Awakening to Your Soulmate: A Decision to be IN Love at national conferences.

On May 1st, John and Elaine join the 2015 IACSAS conference, titled “Redeeming Sexuality & Intimacy: Hope and Healing for Relationships” to speak on the topic of Healing Romantic Relationships Shattered by Addiction. In this workshop they will teach conference attendees how to utilize their 4 building blocks to romantic health.

Awakening to Your Soulmate: Book Debut with CSAT Professionals and Their Partners

February 13, 2015 | 3:30pm – 5:00pm | IITAP Symposium, Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, Phoenix, Arizona

LCCS co-founders Elaine Leadem and John Leadem have completed their latest work and publication for couples titled Awakening to Your Soulmate: A Decision to be IN Love. On Friday February 13, 2015, Elaine and John will present this monumental work as a couples workshop to participating symposium CSATs who are attending the event with their romantic partners.

A Decision to be IN Love: a Couple’s Workshop

Friday & Saturday, February 14 & 15, 2014 | Multi-day Event | The Ranch located in Nunnelly, TN

This two day couples retreat, co-facilitated by LCCS founders John and Elaine Leadem, is designed to help partners in romantic relationships identify the trigger points that can lead one or both partners to feeling insecure or unsafe in their relationship. Strategies are introduced and rehearsed to help partners to intervene on and overcome defensiveness in the romance that can block open communication and mutual support.

INto the Belly of the Whale: A Couple’s Retreat in Nunnelly Tennessee

Friday & Saturday, September 13 & 14, 2013 | Multi-day Event | The Ranch located in Nunnelly, TN

This two day couples retreat is designed to help partners in romantic recovery identify the trigger-points that can lead one or both partners to feel insecure or unsafe in their relationship.

Strategies are introduced and couples learn in real time through interactive experiential tasks and role play to help the program attendees intervene on and overcome defensiveness in their romance that can block open communication and mutual support.

A Shared Program of Recovery Professional Training in Tennessee

Friday, September 13, 2013 | 4 CEUs | The Ranch located in Nunnelly, TN

This clinical training will introduce helping professionals to a model for treating couples recovering from an addictive disorder or struggling with sober romantic intimacy. This presentation will highlight the common challenges that recovering clients experience in their effort to establish and maintain healthy romantic intimacy.

We will introduce the therapeutic strategies we have used successfully for the past thirty years in our work as therapists and retreat masters to promote healing in troubled relationships and to provide insight into the dynamic failures of past relationships to help clients avoid committing the same old mistakes.
