LCCS is proud to offer a men only psycho-education group focused on relapse prevention. The group meets each Friday from 10:00am – 11:30am. It is co-facilitated by Shawn Leadem, LCSW and Shim Frankel, LCSW. The cost for this group is $90.00 per session which includes between-session reviews of group member’s written assignments.

This is an open treatment group. Current/past LCCS clients as well as new clients are all welcome to join this group. Non LCCS client can join this group following an initial evaluation by either Shim or Shawn.

The group is designed for men who are currently active in 12-step addiction recovery using either face to face meetings, telephone conference meetings, web based meetings, or self guided study. Potential group members also need to be willing to develop male to male recovery support networking between group therapy sessions. The group focus is dedicated towards the development and maintenance of skills for:

• Learning to recognize relapse as a process
• Identifying their own relapse process
• Being guided through the course book An Ounce of Prevention: A Course in Relapse Prevention
