Christopher J. Leadem is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Virginia with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. His career development over the past 13 years has given him a breadth of experience helping individuals suffering from addictive and mental health disorders in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient to outpatient care.
His opportunity to grow up around the 12 Step rooms, has instilled him with empathy and compassion for addicts and their families. This, along with his own personal recovery experiences, graduate training and field experience has helped him foster a passion for helping families break the cycle of injury that occurs when families fail to get sufficient help. He understands that “hurt people, hurt people,” and sustained recovery requires that the addicts and their families must work hard to break the cycle of failure and is prepared to show them the way off the merry-go-round.
