Event Description:

In the nine months since LCCS co-founders John and Elaine Leadem have debuted their new book and couple’s training series titled Awakening to Your SoulmateA Decision to be IN Loveit has evolved into a popular therapeutic workshop model of its own at various professional conferences nationwide.

On Friday, September 25th, John and Elaine will be joining the 2015 World Conference of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) to take place in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference, titled “Be Strong” is a Christian based event that is expected to draw over 7,000 attendees. AACC describes the mission of their world conference as being able to assist helping professionals of Christian faith to “more effectively offer the love of God and wise counsel to those who come to you for help, hope and direction.”

In their contribution towards this mission, John and Elaine will be speaking at the conference on the topic of “Healing Romantic Relationships Shattered by Addiction” in which they will be teaching conference attendees how to utilize the 4 building blocks to romantic health found in Awakening to Your Soulmate: A decision to be IN love. The integration of these 4 building blocks will provide a framework for participants to enable and empower their clients in the healing of romantic trauma and betrayal. Participants will be able to effectively integrate these building blocks as a simple roadmap in the healing restoration of any romance, regardless of the challenges that may have driven them apart. Attendees are hoped to leave this particular workshop with an increased ability to …”offer wise counsel to those who come to them for help…”

Elaine and John have been training addiction treatment professionals at state, regional and national venues for the past 42 years.  Their trainings generally focus on clinical skill building and their audiences have come from every treatment modality and professional discipline serving addicts and their families. Because of the unique focus of AACC, John and Elaine will not only be training licensed clinicians and therapists, but pastors and ministry leaders in this presentation as well.
