Enrollment in the institute is voluntary and there is no contractual agreement between the LTI staff or LCCS partners and the candidates outside of the “Candidate Agreement” which is aimed at ensuring the copyright integrity of our proprietary material. Prospective candidates must be unanimously approved by the LCCS partners and understand that continued enrollment is at the discretion of the LTI Director, John V. Leadem and that any candidate is free to end his or her candidacy at any time without obligation other than those outlined in the “Candidate Agreement”.
Cost
There is no cost for participating in the training process, but candidates are expected to make a commitment to regular philanthropic contributions to Relief Resources, Lakewood, N.J.[1] Relief is a highly acclaimed non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the international Jewish community in overcoming the broad range of conditions related to mental illness. The candidate is responsible for determining the frequency and monetary value of regular contributions during his or her enrollment in LTI. The financial commitment a candidate makes is one of honor and LTI will conduct no accounting or bear any responsibility for ensuring that a candidate’s commitment is upheld. All candidates are required to have the use of a computer (use of video phone is not acceptable) with video, audio and adequate web connection to participate in all sessions as they are interactive.
All candidates are expected to purchase copies of the following training materials for use during curriculum work:
Training Schedule & Candidate Commitment
The training will be provided live through a remote resource on a weekly basis for a 3-hour workshop for the duration of the candidate’s progression through the curriculum. All candidates will be expected to attend the full workshop if attending LTI that week. The LTI operates a rolling admission, and each candidate will progress through the curriculum at his or her own pace. The training staff will make every effort to help new candidates to catch up with the curricular element area under examination that he or she may have missed since the element was introduced. The elements in Phase 1 do not have to be completed sequentially but candidates cannot begin Phase 2 until all the elements in Phase 1 have been completed.
