We are writing to share with you some of the joy that we are experiencing. Effective January 1, 2024, our son Shawn M. Leadem, LCSW, will be purchasing our business. Shawn is ready for this transition and has been preparing for it by serving as a partner and Clinical Director of all treatment provided at Leadem Counseling & Consulting Services (“LCCS”) for the past three years. The name of the new company will be Leadem Counseling. The joy is that we will have an increased opportunity to develop new clinical products and training programs while having greater opportunity to hike the trails of the National Parks.
We expect that this transition will be seamless. In fact, it is our intention to continue to provide clinical consultation to the treatment team as a contracted service during the next few years. The clinical consulting services we will provide will include ongoing consultation, evaluations, and direct clinical and oversight services in the delivery of therapeutic intensives. Leadem Counseling will be purchasing our client records. This will ensure that the confidentiality protection required by state and federal law will continue. In fact, Leadem Counseling will continue to use the same cloud-based provider that LCCS uses, and which Shawn has administrated during his tenure as our Clinical Director.
We are thrilled that we have had the opportunity to develop such a strong clinical treatment team that will continue to serve you and the community in the manner to which you have become accustomed. We wish you all the best in your journey and invite you to contact us as you desire. From your perspective, it will be business as usual.
